Gardening

Well I was planning on writing a blog about how the garden was coming along even with all the rain we have been having lately. I finally got out today without rain and forgot to take pictures of the garden. Sometimes I really worry about my mind and being so forgetful. But don't they say when you think something is wrong with your memory there probably isn't. I hope that this is true. I feel to young to be having problems but I guess it can affect you at any age. Oh well this is getting off track of gardening.

Mother's Day

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. I enjoyed mine. I had my picture taken with my boys. They are growing so much. I guess I can not really call them boys any more they are grown men!! We had a great Mother's Day weekend We did a lot of shopping and I was proud that the guys made it through all of it. We really had a good time other than I hate to shop but I did find some new outfits. All the while wishing my mom was here to still make my clothes she was the best seamstress ever. She made all of mine and my sisters shorts, skirts and jumpers. We had the best clothes ever and all of the latest fashions

It is May

May is a great month but it is also kinda of a sad month since Mothers Day is this month. I miss my mom so much.

Well it is finally getting warm around here and I have wore shorts a couple of times. The Farmer planted the garden I am so ready to get fresh vegetables. Our potato patch is coming up pretty good and our onions. We are trying to grow red onions. The Farmer set out half-runner green beans, strike green beans, pickling cucumbers, spaghetti squash, zucchinis, yellow squash, and better boy tomatoes. We planted beets and they are starting to come up. I want to plant some peppers and egg plants.

Flowers are coming out everywhere. I am so excited about that to. I bought these holly hocks last year on the clearance rack for 50 cent a piece I kept them alive all winter I hope they bloom I wonder what color they will be???

I went and picked strawberries. I love fresh strawberries. They are so yummy! My snowball bush finally turned white and my peonies are blooming my roses are blooming. Grandmas knockout roses are so pretty and there are some purple irises fixing to bloom.

Catch up!!!

Wow I did not realize that it has been so long since a made a post. I have been out of wack with my self. But I am back on track. I fell off the wagon hard. I finished 80 day obsession. I am proud of myself for not missing a day and finishing all 80 days. I was discouraged with myself because I could see no change in my before pictures and after and my inches did not change very much!! I just keep saying I need to get my nutrition on track and I have not been  doing it. I started 2 new books and they are helping me.

If you are a woman that tells yourself lies this is a good book!!

A great devotional 

I started 80 day obsession back today and I am determined to get my nutrition on track. Almost half  the years is gone and I have not lost not one pound. Well that is about to change. 

I have been lazy about taking pictures. We got Netflix and I am addicted to watching all the seasons of Grey's Anatomy!! Every free chance I get I am watching tv. So sad but I love it!! Here are a few pictures I have taken.

I have had a haircut and a birthday since I posted. I did not have much cut off just a inch or 2 and layers cut in.

I had a good birthday. I got a birthday cake and it was yummy! That did not help my nutrition but is was good. I took a picture after I had already eaten some of it. 

I got the cutest rooster for my birthday also. I got a lot of new work out clothes A new water bottle a new bible journal. I am still trying to decide if I am going to get me a Cricut craft cutting machine. I want one really bad but they cost a good amount of money.

Jimmy and Mama

Well I finally got a picture of our other calf that belongs to Bugsy. He is a little bull and a cutie.

Other mama has not had a calf yet. I am beginning to wonder if she is going to. The Farmer is getting ready to sell Jimmy, and Mama. I am kinda of sad about it but Mama is getting old and she just don't seem the same since she was not able to feed her calf. We are going to get rid of all of the cows and work on the pastures. It will be a while before we get rid of the others because of the calfs. Here is the corral that they are planning on catching Jimmy and Mama in.

I have been loving these warm days. We have gotten out and saw some turkeys. and the barn kitties. I only took a picture of Maria. She is so pretty.

My tulips are blooming I love Tulips. I would love to have a bouquet of them. I am beginning to think that this is my favorite flower. 

I have really been trying to do better with my diet. I am going to start a new devotion on April 1st. I am excited about.

Yesterday was my granny's birthday. She died exactly one month before my wedding and it made me so sad. If she was alive she would be 105 years old. She was like my second my second mama. She was a strong woman in my life and taught me so many things I hope I never forget. I love and miss her so much. This is her at the beach. Her second happy place besides home.
