Wow this weather is so crazy. I love the warm weather but I have a feeling all of the stuff that is blooming and coming out will be killed but frost, freeze or snow. It is crazy. On facebook all my pictures from memories pop up and most of them have been snow. I went out today to take a picture of our new calf and took some pictures of the stuff that is blooming.

And yes Other mama had a calf yesterday. I went out to get a picture of it and Jimmy had to show off so I had to come in and get the farmer to go out with me to get the picture. First calf this year.

We had thunderstorms this past week and that means snow in 9 days so let see if spring in early February continues.
Vicki, I am worried about the same thing...a big freeze killing all these things in bloom now. My flowering quince is blooming and the peach tree has buds. You know, last year we had a frost right in this area that killed every blooming bush and tree we have. Hard to believe it is 30 degrees colder today than it was yesterday. Your new calf is so cute and your farm is just beautiful. You have such a pretty place. Love you Vicki.
ReplyDeleteWhat cool pictures. Hope the stuff doesn't get frozen.
ReplyDeleteOh so sweet! You really do have a Valentine on the farm on Valentine's Day! I love the photo of Valentine and Jenny. I worry too about the weather bringing blooms out just to zap them later. I have candytuft and phlox in bloom in front of my shop. Sigh... Happy Valentine's Day sweet cousin! xoxo Lynn
