Current events and Vacation 2015

Another vacation has came and gone. This year seems like a lot of things were going on in the world while were away. This happened before we went but is it not said that someone goes into a church and kills 9 people. The other things that happened is that because of this the people of South Carolina decided they no longer want a part of their history flying over the capital building. Not only is this flag to be taken down but also some places are not selling and removing to flag from anything in there stores and stock. Even the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazard is not safe. I really don't have any say one way or another but it is like they are forgetting that soldiers died for this flag. Maybe it is best that it is in history books and museums. Next topic about the supreme court making it legal in USA for homosexuals to marry. I am not a supporter of this but I have read a lot of good points that as a Christians we need to open our eyes to. In the Laws of God the 10 commandments sins are sins. I am sure that we are all sinners. We don't get mad because someone is getting a divorce, saying Gods name in vain, wanting what others have, and so many other sins that are wrong in the bible that are legal in mans laws. So why are we as Christians showing hate for homosexuals and mans laws. It is a sin but don't we need to just love them and pray for them. I want to be more like God and Jesus Christ and love and pray. That don't mean that you support it. I am done with this know. I just needed to get this off my mind.

We have returned back to the farm after a week long vacation at the beach!! I love the beach and wish we had the resources to stay there all of the summer months. Now days everything cost a fortune so I don't see this ever happening. We had a wonderful time doing the normal things that we do on vacation. Sitting on the beach near the water, going to Brookgreen Gardens and eating!!!

We ate some really good food. We tried Jersey Mikes for the first time and it was yummy! We hit our regular restaurants River City Cafe, Outback, Chick-fila and Papa Johns. We also had 3 dozen of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Yes I said 3 dozens and they were delicious!!! I only gained 3 pounds extra at the beach maybe that is a pound for every time we had doughnuts LOL

Not Much....

I don't have much to talk about but Sunday will be a great day and I will blog about it. It will be the Farmers grandma's birthday. She will be 94 years old. The family is giving her a party and I am so excited about it. I just love her just like she is my grandma to.

We have been getting some rain and I am so relieved. It was getting so dry around here. I have been worried about the pastures and it is not even summer yet. With the rain we have been having rainbows.
This picture was taken May 30
The double rainbow is beautiful and it was so bright!

This was taken June 1

These two were taken June 2
I told the Farmer that I hope this means that this flock of chickens will be our pot of gold. I don't mean to make us rich but to be a good flock!!

Well have a great weekend thanks for stopping by.

Instagram..... and around the farm

I hate not understanding how to do something. I have recently started on Instagram  account and I have been trying  to figure out how to do stuff on it. It looks simple enough but it took me a while and a little help from a young person and I got it done.

Today was the last day to enter my photo contest. I am really hoping that I make it in calendar this time. I would love to win the $300 for the first place but I don't have my hopes up. Here are the pictures that I ended up sending.

Where did those goslings go?

Just waiting for the bird feeder

Waiting on the farmer
I don't know if I have a winner but I hope I do make a page in the calendar.

I am also doing another contest for "Farmer Strong". My oldest son wanted me to take a picture of him holding the sign with his cowboy boots on. I thought they turned out really good.

Is he not handsome!

love!
My youngest son wanted his picture taken to.

He is so cute!
We having been see several black snakes in the yard also. One day we were going to get the mule out of the building and there was a snake going up under the siding of our house.

The farmer trying to pull it out of the house.

I thought it was two snakes but it was just one.

See how he was curled around himself.

I got some new picture of the baby goslings today. They are getting big. They are almost as big as their parents. It won't be long until they fly away.

Well I guess I will close here. Thanks for stoping by!
